Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications, and services offered by Piaaz at piaaz.com and related domains (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing content, or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Piaaz provides an online education and learning platform, including courses, materials, tools, referral or community features, and related functionality. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes. Outcomes depend on your effort and circumstances; we do not guarantee specific career, financial, or academic results.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Fees, taxes, billing cycles, and renewal terms are presented at checkout or in product descriptions. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable amounts.

Access to paid content is granted in accordance with the product you purchase (e.g. limited-time access, subscription, or lifetime where explicitly stated). We may suspend access for non-payment, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

Refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy (piaaz.com/refund), which is part of these Terms. That Policy includes a seven (7) calendar day window and requires, among other things, that paid subscription or paid access has not been activated on your account for the purchase (as defined there). Outside those rules, fees are treated as earned and non-refundable, except where mandatory applicable law requires a remedy.

Digital educational content may be delivered instantly or over time. Change of mind alone does not qualify for a refund under our Refund Policy. Statutory rights (e.g. faulty or misdescribed content) apply where the law cannot be waived.

For technical access issues, we prioritize restoring access; monetary refunds are only as stated in the Refund Policy (including the technical-access section and the 7-day rules).

You agree not to: violate law; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, other users’ accounts, or content; scrape, copy, or redistribute course materials except as expressly permitted; interfere with the Services; use the Services to distribute malware or spam; or circumvent technical protections (including DRM or access controls).

We may investigate and take action, including termination, for violations.

The Services, branding, software, curriculum, videos, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by Piaaz or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use purchased or free content for your own learning—not for resale, public performance, or redistribution.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

The Services may integrate or link to third parties (e.g. authentication, payment, hosting). Their use is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that content is complete or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PIAAZ, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PIAAZ FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SUBSCRIPTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent still permitted.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Piaaz and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, risk to security, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including fees owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Piaaz’s operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

You agree to first contact us to seek an informal resolution before initiating formal proceedings, where feasible.

We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or product terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transaction.
